Separation of Church and State indicates we have a dual nature

                                                                                                  By Ray Tapajna:

The Cross  calls us to come out of oursleves for the sake on others

There is no duality in human nature
We are one person with each having an unique personality
in seeking the ideal life on earth

There is really no separation of church and state except what Jesus said about giving each their due in a separate way. Persons do not have a dual nature in essence. However, human nature can not be divided into separate elements . Jacques Maritain, who I believe is the last good philosopher in our modern times makes a very important distinction between personality and individuality. It is a matter of form and matter in the creation of human nature. The distinction Maritain makes does not mean the two are not one in human beings. Individuality tends to things that are matter. It is secluded to its individuals with each having its own nature. Individuality tends to be be confining to each persons and not something that can be shared that easy

Personality being form tends to being more spiritual where an individual is called out to merge with others for higher pursposes. It tends to reach for  the ultimate in life which is perfect love knowing perfect love is unattainable while in the body. Therefore persons reach out beyond themselves tosomething above all persons.

Now this is pretty heavy stuff to deal with while trying to make a million dollar deal come true. When I was waiting to make a sales call which  involved a hugh amount of money,  I prepared myself as if I was off stage getting read to make an appearance on stage. Many of times, I stop contemplating about the closing options and read Jacques Maritain book Scholasticism and Politics, first published in 1940, is a collection of nine lectures Jacques Maritain delivered at the University of Chicago in 1938. Maritain championed the cause of what he called personalist democracy—a regime committed to popular sovereignty, constitutionalism, limited government, and individual freedom. He believed a personalist democracy offered the modern world the possibility of a political order most in keeping with the demands of human dignity, Christian values, and the common good.

I read this because my sales call in a material world had to somehow comply with my human nature  seeking the ideal life on earth for all. Somehow there everything had to connect.

The only time the Bible says that Jesus got angry is when he confronted the money changers in the temple. This would indicate there is a difference between money changing in the temple and money changing outside the temple. But what is the reference point that Jesus had for making his judgement in the first place. He had to know the nature of money changing was not good outside but doing it inside the temple was worst. There may be a separation of church and state but there is not a separation of spirtuality and state.

The Catholic Cateshism has a large section relating to the  Social Gospel of the church and it is not confined to only Catholics since they have to interact in business world.

Now they say Pope Francis is against Capitalism and say this contradicts his advocacy for the impoverished because only Capitalism brings prosperity for all. Obviously this is not true. The free market is reserved for only a few in free trade economics. We  have a form of raw Captialism in free trade economics
where anything goes for the sake of making money on money instead of making
things.
